Spartan Firefight
It's some mildly bad new today, Android-users, as Thimbleweed Park has been delayed by a week.
We're slipping Thimbleweed Park Android by a week. Read about it here: https://t.co/djYHHKSTE4 pic.twitter.com/PuUhoZBrTM— Mr. Ron Gilbert, Esq (@grumpygamer) October 2, 2017 Thimbleweed Park is a heavily classic, but not completely classic, point-and-click mystery game about five people who don't really go together but somehow do... if that makes sense. Initially drawn to the town following a stranger's murder, Special Agent Ray and Junior Agent Reyes have to unfold the mystery, but there's way more to it than meets the eye.

Ron Gilbert gives us the low-down on a blog post, stating that the delay is due to a few issues that showed up through testing Android's many varying devices. However, on launch there will be support for controllers and mouse and keyboards, so it's for a worthwhile cause.

We thought it was rather smashing, giving it Pocket Gamer's prestigious Gold Award for being an homage to classic point-and-click games, and for offering up a complex and humorous adventure.

So long as everything keeps on ticking, Thimbleweed Park should be out on Android on October 10th.

For thou art all, and all things else are thine.
It’s been some time since we’ve last heard about Team Sonic Racing, and it seems there’s a good reason for that now in hindsight. Sega is delaying the game well into 2019, quite a ways off from the game’s planned winter release date. The company did not cite a reason for the delay.

In Team Sonic Racing, you’ll team up with your favorite Sonic characters in hectic co-op races, using techniques and group strategy to slow down your enemies and get the advantage. Of course, there will be your standard single player and competitive multiplayer modes as well if teamwork isn’t your bag.

The Tortoise and the Eagle

It’s a bumper month for fans of the popular mobile board game Game of Dice with the release of a brand new limited edition pack.

For those of you who haven’t yet caught onto this popular anime game, you’ll find it a lot easier to get to grips with than you might think.

Very similar in premise to that house hold classic Monopoly, Game of Dice is a turn based board-game style app where you’ll roll the dice to advance your character around the board in the hope of landing on and buying up prime real estate - with which you can then toll your opponents and send them to the poor house.

Game of Dice’s crossover with The King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match earlier in the month brought the characters of Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami to the games multi-tiled world, but now two of the most popular ladies in the KoF franchise have also been introduced to the game.

The hugely popular Japanese characters Mai Shiranui and Athena Asamiya have both been added to Game of Dice’s new limited edition pack. On top of that, each character also offers you a rather handy perk of receiving 1 million gold whenever they’re pulled from the deck.

In a rather special event to celebrate this latest addition to Game of Dice, JoyCity are also giving you the opportunity to be one of 5 users that will receive a KOF XIV voucher code for the PS4 after purchasing the pack.

But that’s not all, oh no. A further 200 Users who purchase KOF '98 UM II Limited Edition will also be awarded some really spiffy items such as 500 luxury points, 1 million gold and 2 EXPx10 Enforcer’s – making this an event you won’t want to miss. You can get the full details on the giveaway below:
Event Period: The 28th of September to the 6th of October 7:59 PDTHow to enter: Share this Facebook post and leave your Member NumberEvent prize: 200 Gems for 50 entrantsWinner announcement and Prize distribution: 10/11 PDT (Date is subject to change)
Game of Dice can be downloaded for free from Google Play and the App Store.

Just over a month ago Bethesda made a lot of people's day by announcing the open beta of The Elder Scrolls: Legends. The only saddening thing was that it was for PC players only, leaving a few mobile users with broken hearts. According to a recent interview with Bethesda's Pete Hines, however, we could be getting a mobile release pretty damn soon.

In PC Gamer's interview, Hines talks about the progress being made with the game. "We could call it launched right now if we wanted to," Hines says before going on to talk about what else is still to come. It seems like Bethesda's got a ton of plans and ideas for card expansions and packs to bring out, including monthly reward cards.

Hines also comments on when the magic day is predicted to arrive but he stood firm in that the game won't be officially released until it's ready for tablets. "-the point in which we're ready to release it to tablets, we'll pull the beta label off of PC and it'll be 1.0. We're getting really close-"

So it looks as though things are progressing nicely on Bethesda's end, mainly entering a stage of buffing, tweaking, and polishing. Hines confidently predicts that it won't be much later into autumn before we see The Elder Scrolls: Legends on iPad and Android tablets and with an official release on PC.
&#;

Just to make this winter season that much more exciting, Cygames has just reminded us that the Shadowverse World Grand Prix is just around the corner.First covered what feels like years ago back in October, the RAGE Shadowverse World Grand Prix is an invitational tournament which'll separate the adults from the kids and the ultimate champion from the lot of them.

Taking place in Tokyo on December 23rd and 24th, 24 players from across the globe have been invited to try their hand at winning the world championship. Though each of the participants are guaranteed $1,000 in prize money, there's a prize pool of a whopping $120,000 up for grabs.

Akamurared, Pain, and Meow944 will represent Europe, and FanTaSy, JaZe, and Vetu will represent North America. Korea and Taiwan will offer up three players each, while Japan (the home of Shadowverse) provides 12 players, including hasu.

The World Grand Prix will be using the current Starforged Legends expansion, and not the upcoming Chronogenesis expansion.
Don't worry, I'm totally calm when I tell you that Night in the Woods will actually be COMING TO MOBILE. Oop, sorry, a little bit of crazy slipped out.
ANNOUNCING:Night In The WoodsMobile2018 pic.twitter.com/6hTjGLVTWD— Night In The Woods (@NightInTheWoods) October 23, 2017 Night in the Woods is a fantastic point and click adventure game which follows the kitty college drop-out, Mae, as she moves back to her hometown of Possum Springs. With old friends to reconnect with and a questionable past of her own, perhaps the strange goings-on in town aren't the worst of her problems.

The game has a lot of ticks to point out. Its characters are excellent, its art style is wonderful, its story is both hilarious and heartbreaking at times, and despite the fact the town is made up of anthropomorphic beings the problems and issues raised in throughout the story resonate wholly to our lives. Well, minus the obvious one for the majority.

We didn't get many details but we know Night in the Woods is coming to mobile sometime in 2018.
Nature hath charged me that I hoard them not,
