THE PURCHASER of a black servant was persuaded that the color of his skin arose from dirt contracted through the neglect of his former masters. On bringing him home he resorted to every means of cleaning, and subjected the man to incessant scrubbings. The servant caught a severe cold, but he never changed his color or complexion.

ON A SUMMER DAY, when the great heat induced a general thirst among the beasts, a Lion and a Boar came at the same moment to a small well to drink. They fiercely disputed which of them should drink first, and were soon engaged in the agonies of a mortal combat. When they stopped suddenly to catch their breath for a fiercer renewal of the fight, they saw some Vultures waiting in the distance to feast on the one that should fall first. They at once made up their quarrel, saying, "It is better for us to make friends, than to become the food of Crows or Vultures."

Players will still get the same amount of new content, but new weapons will be released once a month rather than once a week.

The news came with the reveal of four new weapons on the Splatoon 2 official tumblr account:
Neo Splash-o-matic w/ Burst Bombs & Suction-Bomb LauncherFoil Squeezer w/ Splat Bomb & Bubble BlowerNew Squiffer w/ Autobomb & BallerGlooga Dualies Deco w/ Splash Wall & Baller
The weapons were announced without any fancy descriptions or much fanfare, but the development team did share that from now, weapons will be released in batches of four once a month. Throwing four new weapons at players at a time will give folks less time to master each one, which could make matches a good deal more exciting.

Do you think this is a good move on Nintendo’s part, or did you prefer the previous release schedule?

Prolific mobile developer Crescent Moon Games has announced another game that will be heading for iOS and Android in the near future. It is called Slime Rush, an adorable looking platformer that has been created by indie developer Itey.

The game will see you attempting to navigate a brightly coloured obstacle course as you play as a little ball. The controls seem to be fairly straightforward with movement, jumping and double jumping looking to be the only inputs you'll need to make use of as you progress.
Check out the adorable Slime Rush by @IteyGamesComing soon to mobile! ????????#lowpoly #gamedev #indiegame #screenshotsunday pic.twitter.com/G7aMqEpapO— Crescent Moon Games ???? However, it looks to be more of a single-player title where overcoming the challenges each stage presents is the aim, rather than beating other players.

Slime Rush will be heading to the App Store and Google Play at some stage. There is no confirmed date just yet, nor any details on pricing but we'll be sure to keep you updated as and when we learn more.
On the hunt for more platformers to play on the go? "Oh, of course. There was never anybody about Four Winds could touch her for looks. Did you ever see her hair? It reaches to her feet when she lets it down. But I meant how did you like her?"&#;"Ah, well, it's the only bad thing I know of either of you, Mistress Blythe. Cornelia is a Tory, too. I called in on my way from the Glen to tell her the news."
