"From what you tell me I suppose she was married before she was old enough to know her own mind or heart, and found out too late that she had made a mistake. It's a common tragedy enough, Anne.
Amid the laughter that followed Mrs. Doctor Dave urged Captain Jim to stay and have supper with them.
Phew, it feels like it's been a while since we've chatted about Plague Inc. and lucky us there's a new update on the way.

If you don't know about the game, Plague Inc. is a simulation/strategy puzzler where you have to infect and eventually kill of the whole world's population using a number of means. There are tons of illnesses to choose from to date, but you'll soon be able to dive into that 90s-classic Mad Cow Disease.

This 'moo-tation' as the devs call it leads to three new scenarios:
Mad Cow Disease"While making this scenario we had to really think hard about what the world would look like if there was a re-emergence of the infamous 1990s outbreak. We naturally took the research and ran with it, though, so expect a few surprises!"Where Is Everyone?"Almost everybody in the world has mysteriously vanished and nobody knows why. The Rapture? Mass abductions? Spontaneous combustion? Who knows?! Luckily though, the few thousand people left behind are carrying on as normal. How will your outbreak spread when there are so few people left to infect?"Flight Club"Huge leaps in aviation technology have seen humanity unlock the true potential of suborbital flight on a commercial basis. In this future world you can get from London to Sydney in 2 hours for a fraction of the cost and every country in the world has an airport."
We're not sure exactly when the update will be launching across Steam, iOS, Android, and console but we'll know in the next few days. Read the full notes right here.

Ever thought your phone was a little too big for your pocket? Well, you certainly won't have any complaints like that for the TinyScreen, a portable system small enough to keep in your wallet.

Hidden behind TinyScreen's 0.96", 96x64 pixel OLED screen is a TinyDuino processor board, based on the similarly Kickstarter-backed Arduino Uno.

These little gizmos are made up of multiple parts, assembled together like LEGO bricks. The basic kit includes the TinyScreen, TinyDuino processor, TinyShield (a backing unit to hide all the innards), and Lithium battery.

There are four buttons on the unit much like the ones you'd find on and old-school Casio watch. Pocket gamers wanting to have more precise controls can purchase the Video Game Kit.

Early Bird pricing for the Video Game Kits is long gone, so it'll cost you $75 to nab one now. The kit includes the Joystick TinyShield, which will add two analogue joysticks to the device.

All versions of TinyScreen come with freeware clones of the infamous Flappy Bird and arcade classic Asteroids ready to play on the device, and the nature of its open source software means there'll be plenty more to come.

When we asked project starter Ken Burns about upcoming native games he told us the team were looking into "development on some more games, like Tetris, Space Invaders, and possibly Pac-Man [clones]."

With the screen being so small it'll be near-impossible to accurately emulate or interpret old console and PC games, but we're still eagerly anticipating gimped versions of Duke Nukem 3D and the odd NES classic.

Enclosures can be 3D printed for the device, so there'll be all sorts of ways to use TinyScreen - on your wrist, glasses, perhaps even in a mini GBA casing.

The Kickstarter has already achieved almost four times its target goal of $15,000, and with 18 days left it'll be interesting to see if any stretch goals will be announced.
Will you pick one up? What would you want to use it for? Tell us in the comments below!A CERTAIN MAN made a wooden image of Mercury and offered it for sale. When no one appeared willing to buy it, in order to attract purchasers, he cried out that he had the statue to sell of a benefactor who bestowed wealth and helped to heap up riches. One of the bystanders said to him, "My good fellow, why do you sell him, being such a one as you describe, when you may yourself enjoy the good things he has to give?' "Why," he replied, "I am in need of immediate help, and he is wont to give his good gifts very slowly."

King is widely known for Candy Crush Saga, it's free to play hit that everyone that you see on the subway seems to play. It's also always on the top grossing apps and stayed there throughout 2015.

It was also last year that we learned that Activision/Blizzard was buying King for $5.9 Billion.

After amassing tons of money on it, King decided to expand its portfolio with Candy Crush Saga and Candy Crush Soda Saga and lately with Paradise Bay and Blossom Blast Saga.

King's latest financial results aren't that great though. King's profit is down 10% (now at $517 million) from a year ago and revenue was down 12% .

It's even worse if you look at the latest quarter as revenue was down 16% and profit was also way down 36% from last year.

Still, is it a sign that King is dying?

It's way too early to say that the King as died as revenue for the year was still a massive $2 Billion and King grew its cash reserve which are now at $1.1 billion. So that's still a lot of cash to turn things around.

Let's not forget that King has also entered a partnership with Windows.

It will be interesting to see what King plans to do to address this and how it'll integrate with Activision's plans.

[Source]

Each week, we provide our diehard band of mobile gaming experts in the App Army with free, and early, access to the biggest mobile game releases.

In exchange, we ask that those who are selected for participation write a few short paragraphs of feedback. I tried to access the Android store page earlier, but it seems to have been temporarily taken down.

What we do know is that EA is taking on a very limited number of Android testers, though whether those slots have already been filled is anyone’s guess, and there’s also no confirmation of which regions the pre-alpha version is available in – it’s all very disorganised.

The screenshots attached let us know that the series’ art style has been revised slightly, but, outside of that, it looks really quite similar to the earlier games. You can expect lots of tower defence-style action, with increasingly difficult swarms of zombies and boss-type enemies. Android Police notes that there’s a new upgrade system for plants that somehow involves collectable tacos.

Android Police also confirms that this new game is unsurprisingly free to play, with in-app purchases that range from pennies up to $99.99. News of Plants vs Zombies 3’s existence honestly took me by surprise. It’s a series that I haven’t thought about since playing the excellent Garden Warfare spinoffs.

I’ll throw the Google Play link here for anyone who wants to give it a try. As I already mentioned, I’ve had no luck getting into the pre-alpha myself, though that might be because I’m based in the UK. The writer for Android Police, who’s actually managed to play it, is based in the US, so maybe all you American readers will have a bit more luck.
Check out our news section to discover the latest, and greatest, games.
